ULTRAPRO* Hernia System
The ULTRAPRO Hernia System (UHS) is a sterile, pre-shaped, 3 dimensional device constructed of an undyed onlay patch connected by a mesh cylinder (connector) to an underlay patch enhanced with circular dyed PROLENE* (polypropylene) Suture stitching. The polymer of the undyed and dyed polypropylene fiber is identical to the material used for dyed/undyed PROLENE Suture material. The onlay patch, connector and underlay patch are manufactured from approximately equal parts of absorbable MONOCRYL (poliglecaprone 25) Suture fiber and non-absorbable PROLENE Suture fiber. The underlay patch is reinforced by a flat, undyed absorbable film of MONOCRYL.
